No meetings on City holidays, school closings or delays. |
College Park Art Club
Biweekly on Tuesdays 7:30-9pm Old Parish House Do you enjoy making art? While Rembrandts are welcome, we are definitely amateurs who enjoy getting together with neighbors to relax and make some art. The goal of art club is for people to have the mental space to explore their creativity at whatever skill level they have. You don’t need to be good at art. We will have a group warmup which will be easily accessible activities that don’t require skill or experience but will also be enjoyable to more advanced artists. This is not an art class and there is no teacher, so please bring your own project and supplies. Interested but not sure what to do? We can suggest some simple ways to get started. |

Neighbors Helping Neighbors of College Park
Neighbors Helping Neighbors of College Park (NHN-CP) was established to create a community of volunteers to act as a safety net for our aging residents to allow them to stay in their homes. Volunteers do this by helping older residents with transportation, household chores, and friendly visits and phone check-ins; every day activities that have become difficult due to physical limitations. https://www.nhn-cp.org |
Route 1 Corridor Conversations
Hyattsville Aging in Place, Helping Hands University Park, Neighbors Helping Neighbors-College Park, and Explorations on Aging College Park have joined together to launch a new, online informative series to entertain, engage, and educate attendees, especially our older residents residing along the Route 1 Corridor. These Corridor Conversations programs will be held monthly and attendees can join via telephone or Zoom. http://hyattsvilleaginginplace.org/programs-and-activities/corridor-conversations/ |
